At Stedin, our focus for Grade R is setting our youngest learners on the path to lifelong learning and to cultivate a love for learning.
Grade R is a fundamental year in a child’s educational development because it focuses on helping children take important steps towards independence while teaching them vital social skills.
Our Stedin Grade R’s have a dedicated Learning and Play facilities within the Stedin Grounds.
The learning curriculum is divided into three subjects, namely:
Language (English, isiXhosa or Afrikaans), Mathematics and Life Skills.
A learner must be 5 turning 6 in the Grade R academic year.
